PARKING
Strictly no parking west of A470. Park in event carpark on Visitor Centre side- this will be signposted once you approach Visitor centre. Pay meters will be in operation cost £3.00 per day. Disabled parking adjacent to Visitor Centre.
REFRESHMENTS
Available at Visitor Centre ( full meal service ) ad in start finish area ( mobile provision, burgers etc. Please ensure all waste is put in litter bins.
TOILETS
Toilets in Visitor Centre open until 5p.m. on Sat & 6p.m. on Sunday and for visitors at the toilet block near the Maesgwm centre close to Start/Finish area.
Portable Loos available for competitors on course near finish line ( see map for both )
SHOWERS/CHANGING ROOMS
Available at Visitor centre- open until 5p.m Saturday and 6p.m Sunday. Showers are on prepayment meters ( £1.00)
REGISTRATON
Saturday 1.p.m. until 4 p.m.
Sunday 8a.m. to 9.30p.m.
Race Numbers and Timing chips issued at registration.
If you need Kit / Food /Drinks taken over to race site – bags will be available which can be tagged and placed into shuttle bus or van, taken over to event site and reclaimed at Kit Tent. See map.
GOODY BAGS
Collect after registration from Rotary Marquee adjacent to Visitor Centre. ( produce card with race number on as proof of registration )
GOLD STRIKE CLAIM
Your chance to strike it rich irrespective of performance on course. Stake your claim at Rotary Marquee once you have your race number.

SPECTATORS
Use frequent free shuttle bus from centre to race area. Use bus in Visitor Centre car park. Shuttle by Celtic Mini Bus Hire. Ignore Arriva buses !!

SPARES/DRINKS
Competitors can move equipment, drinks etc over to Race area Kit Tent by shuttle bus, or dedicated kit truck. Manned tent by drop off point. All items tagged. See Registration
FIRST AID
Provided by extreme medics for competitors. Their base is at Start finish area – see map.
Spectators: any accidents – report to Visitor Centre.
BIKE CLEANING
Available at visitor centre. ( 50p tokens from Bikes Brenin )
BIKE REPAIR;
Available at Beics Brenin – Visitor Centre
ROUTE TO START:
Competitors should follow signed designated route from Visitor Centre to start area via tunnel under main road. (Signed black arrows or yellow background) For route- see map.
Race Numbers: See Registration. Please RETURN race numbers and timing chips by race compound immediately after finishing.
ACCIDENTS
All accidents must be reported to race Control. ( As Forestry Commission Wales need to be informed within 24hrs ) Personal data may be used in case of accident.
Helmets MUST be worn and fastened before riders cross start mat.
Timing Chips: MUST be worn on ankle
Event cut off time: No rider will be allowed to start a lap after 3p.m.

Feedback This is the first time this event has been held. We hope all will go smoothly and that all entrants enjoy the day. Our intention is to run the event annually and perhaps to expand it to two or more events over the weekend. We need your feedback on this.
