The 2010 Gold Rush

 

The 2010 Gold Rush was the most successful so far, with over 170 competitors and more than £3,300 raised for charity.

The slight problems we had with a few competitors going the wrong way have been resolved and will be a thing of the past in the 2011 race.

The funds raised were used to purchase three Shelter Boxes and making a donation of £500 to Air Ambulance.  The balance will be used to support a number of Local Good Causes which will include Child Literacy Programmes, Schools Gardening Projects, Junior Sports and Cancer Research.  

 

We at Rotary work our ‘Butts’ off to organize the event BUT without YOU, our competitors, there would be no Gold Rush!
